Chemical
data assimilation system as a tool for model evaluation
Richard Menard, MSC/McGill University, John C. McConnell, York University
Objectives:
- To advance
the knowledge of emission sources through the use of observations
- To advance
chemical modelling and, in particular, aerosol modelling through
the use of data assimilation, and
- To develop
objective approaches to improve models by using sensitivity analysis
and estimation theory
- Assist
with model evaluation tasks
